Our Story
The Vidivici® brand was founded in 2021 by sisters Anna and Victoria Johnson. Growing up, Anna and Victoria were fascinated by their mother’s makeup routine. They loved watching her transform her look with a swipe of lipstick or flick of mascara.
As teenagers, the sisters began experimenting with makeup themselves. They studied beauty blogs and YouTube tutorials to learn techniques. However, they struggled to find quality products that worked with their skin. Many formulas were too harsh, causing breakouts and irritation. The choices were either cheap drugstore brands or expensive department store lines.
Anna and Victoria dreamed of cosmetics and skincare products that made you look and feel beautiful, using gentle, natural ingredients. After college, they decided to make that dream a reality by starting their own company.
The name Vidivici comes from the Latin phrase “Veni, vidi, vici.” It translates to “I came, I saw, I conquered” and represents the confidence, strength and perseverance of women. With their products, Anna and Victoria want to inspire women to conquer their goals and boldly take on the world.
